MY MAGIC POWER BEANS

I hold in my hands the power to change my life.

I hold in my hands the power to create all that I envision.

I hold in my hands the ability to take the mundane and create baffling results.

I hold in my hands the ability to take 5 little beans and grow them into magnificent symbols of power.

I hold in my hands the ability to step beyond my fears and act with courage.

I hold in my hands the ability to draw people into my world because of the love and belief I have for them.

I hold in my hands the ability to create financial freedom for all that enter my life.

I hold in my hands the ability to CHANGE THE WORLD!

The Cost of Doing Business

Today I:

  • Made 5 new contacts.
  • Did follow-up calls on contacts I made 2 days ago. Not everybody answered the phone. No worries back on the call back list they go and I will send them all out an e-card.
  • On one of the follow-up calls I made a new contact with another person living in the house. He says he is a student and wanted to know if he could make enough money to pay for college. I told him to watch the presentation and gave him my webpage address.
  • He told me he would watch it. I will follow up with him in two days.

The tools I use and what they cost me:

Free

  • All the MPM Training
  • Family Chat
  • Reality Boot Camp
    o daily calls
    o support
    o stories
  • MY Why’s
  • The MPM System to create self reliance
  • Changing how I shop and spend money
  • E-Cards
  • My commitment

Not Free

  • Business Cards $19.95/no shipping (got a rebate)
  • Invitation Cards $45/no shipping (got a rebate)
  • Domain Name
o Comes with email address $6.99/year (got a commission)
  • Gas for the vehicle
  • WCM Subscription $15.95/month (get a commission on all other WCM’s in your organization)

Keep in mind that the low cost of operating the MPM opportunity dose more that simply give you necessary tools to promote your business. There are other benefits:

  • Tax deductible at the end of the year
o Items such as business and invitation cards create a rebate when purchased through your mall.
  • Maintenance and travel expense for your vehicle and your buying gas with AmEx gift cards that you got a commission to purchase.
  • Home office deduction.
  • Business cloths used solely for promoting your business again purchased with AmEx gift cards and through your mall where you earn a rebate
  • Any promotional items you use to promoter your business. Giving away bags of beans purchased with AmEx gift cards you got a commission when you purchased.
  • WCM Subscription as a promotion item… or Training…

The freedom of CHOICE becomes much bigger

  • One of the may upsides to doing business with the MPM system is that no matter what if you build a team that is willing to duplicate the 5 contacts, make a purchase in their mall, and use gift cards on the rest of their everyday spending. The why will happen!

The economy is just an excuse for the JOB to take advantage of People like you and Me. Here is the proof… Let's Change this for many other people.

I have to say that my long term “WHY” for pursuing this opportunity to help others, charities, and anything else I want to support is huge. I am not ready to share that bigger why right now because it is important to keep in mind our short term goals like finishing what we start. This Reality Boot Camp has me scrambling since I took on the challenge. Last night I sat down to write but I did not have the energy to get my dwindling thoughts onto the page. When I am ready to reveal my why, you all will be the first to know.

I have met my goal of 5 a day. Most days I do more than 5 just because. I am committed to knowing that I can help all of these people reach our goal of $2000 and achieve a “why” for them.

Remember to listen, listen, and listen more. When we talk with people we must hear the story they are telling. We are not here to share our stories with the people we meet. We are here because we need to teach them how to drive this vehicle. So, take in what we hear. Then ponder what we need to do to help each new person to succeed.

Last weekend was really rough at the JOB (Just over Broke). I took the majority of the past two days (my weekend) to recuperate from the amount of business we did from Friday thru Monday. We feed nearly 40,000 people and generated $575,511.02 in sales.

Since then I had time to reflect the weekend. Come to find out (Tuesday) in a letter approved by the GM. Apparently upper management had been working for months to draw in patronage for black Friday-cyber Monday. However, that was not passed on to the people giving the service.

Dear Team Members,

I know the economy has affected each one of you in very personal ways, but be certain that (the biz) is doing everything possible to remain the top choice for entertainment in (the area we live). At the same time, we will keep you informed about what’s going on and how we are doing.

A Team Member approached me yesterday, exhausted from our busy weekend. I told him he shouldn’t be surprised. Friday’s business was no accident – it was by design that we attracted approximately 25,000 guests over the weekend. As anticipated, Black Friday was all green this year for (the biz). The best news is that we considerably out-performed last year’s day-after Thanksgiving!

If you recall, during the business update portion of your October all-hands meeting, I let you know we were as aggressive as ever with our marketing efforts, and it is working! 25,000 guests walking through our doors does not happen by itself. Friday’s success, and that of the entire holiday weekend, was a result of months of planning and strategy, combined with your commitment to exceptional guest service.

As always, you delivered on our promise to give guests a chance to “biz slogan” and enjoy (the biz). Thank you for your hard work and dedication to creating extraordinary experiences for our guests.

Our economy is suffering, but rest assured that we will continue to manage responsibly and market aggressively. We will do everything we can to keep guests visiting and entertained by the experience you create. You can expect to hear more from me and other leaders in the coming weeks. We will keep you updated with our efforts to keep (the biz) the premiere resort and (type of biz) choice in (the area we live).

Together, we will get through these difficult times and be the better for it when things improve. Thank you again for all you do for (the biz).

This is not the team I am looking to build with MPM. I like Ginny’s policy of transparency. I have heard her use the transparency policy in a number of her communications in the time I have been involved with MPM. It is very assuring because what follows the “transparency” motto is always the truth. Thank you, Ginny for your forthcoming honesty. Your style is truly appreciated.

Circumstances are not an excuse to avoid your dreams...

I have been off line for the past couple of days due to circumstances WITHIN my control. Now I am back. I have been sharing the opportunity. However, I have not TAKEN THE TIME to get in here to tell all of you about it. I could give you a long list of excuses about why I have not been able to get here to share with all of you. But the plain fact of the matter is that I did not do everything I am supposed to do on a daily basis. TOO BUSY, THE HOLIDAYS, I JUST DON’T HAVE THE TIME… and on and on… Actually, I did not post for a couple of days on purpose. My purpose is to hit a point or two about what I have been up to because I find myself going nowhere with this Reality Boot Camp and getting there fast.

So here I go. Over the past couple of days I have been talking a little and listening allot which is way beyond my normal behavior. I have to admit what I have been listening to has challenged me to remain calm and continue to listen. My intention has shifted from how can I help all these people? To are these people willing to help themselves? With this I have identified one of my challenges.

My challenge #1:
I am committed to help 10 people to go from $0 to $2000 in 60 days as long as they are COMMITTED to helping themselves.

I have not had any difficulty finding lots of people. All people what to talk about all they don’t have and all they do want in their lives. This is usually very much different from where they are.

My solution:

I talk to people about their dreams, and where they want to go with their lives and I listen… and listen… and if they pause I ask probe with questions so they are able to take me to their deeper thoughts of what they want to be possible in their lives.

Then I ask them “what will it take for you to do that. Or have that. Or make that possible for you?” the answerer is usually “I don’t know. Or I don’t have the time. Or I don’t know if that is possible for me.”

After they answer my question I pull out an invitation card and hold it out for them to see or place it on the table in front of them and ask them “Are you willing to do something completely new to fulfill your dreams.” If they say yes I wait for them to take the card. This shows me they are more likely to have commitment. I will follow up with these people. I make it know very clearly that I am going to make my dreams a reality and I am looking for people with the same commitment.

Invitation cards and Meeting real people....

Today was just what I expected it to be. Remember, I am a Chef. I work at a business that generates $60+ million in food sales annually. We feed allot of people. 11 food service outlets, 500+ seat buffet, Banquets/Catering Facilities (We are catering to the Marine Corps through the holiday season as well as many other organizations)
Tuesday is my Friday. Yahooo… luckily I have Thursdays off and we all know what this Thursday is. The day designated to being thankful. Although, we need to practice being thankful every day many of us don’t.

I will tell you that on Thursday at the top of my list of what I am thankful for is the MPM system. And a very close second is the World Changer Reality Boot Camp which is only made possible by the MPM opportunity and the wonderful leadership in the MPM organization. Kudos to all of you!

Now back to the topic of today. I made my Reality Boot Camp Invitation Cards and used them. Hot off the press I gave out 10 cards to complete strangers. Time it took to complete this mission; mind you I did the proper method-you have got to know the people you are making a commitment to because you are making a commitment, 2 hours out of my day. That is it.

By the way I had a better response using the cards and the cause today. I must admit it was the first time I used an invitation card. I will definitely use more in the future.

This is funny; I purchased the paper to print invitation cards on a couple of months ago and never used them. What have you planed on doing in the past to promote your MPM and not done? Try it… really it may be just the thing to make you comfortable sharing this system of self reliance.

In addition to sharing with complete strangers, the cards stock I have been waiting to use, I shared what I learned yesterday within my current organization. “Count your Beans at the end of the Day” is the short of what I shared with my team today.

Well that is it for today. Oh yeah, I have had major issues with the video part of this Reality… I have made allot of effort and numerous attempts to get these uploaded to YouTube. They are not the best and the time it takes to get them uploaded is torturing painful.

As you can see, they make me laugh when I watch them. Fast lips and slow sound" technology is wonderful until it doesn't work. I will be changing my approach until I get the result I am looking for.

Till tomorrow, good night.

Day 1 is ending at 3am for meJ. Today I did have some challenges catching up to what is happening with this World Changer Reality Boot Camp.

What did I do today? I finished setting up my foundation mall with the help of Susan H. Thank you Susan. I added a new domain name to my organization to create easy access to the foundation Mall I am building under. Best of all, I am very excited to say that I used all my beans and then someJ. Well they were actually foil wrap mints. I am a chef if you must know. Yep, I have been in the food biz for 22 years now. You do the math. Kidding, I am 36 years old until March the 29th. Don’t forget to send me an e-card. mailto:ewhitten@worldchangerclub.org

Today’s news is that I used my beans (foil wrap mints) which reminded me to share what we all have. We have the vehicle to move out of the rut into what is possible. What is possible for you? I have my WHY! You will have to find yours and count your beans too. I counted 17 at the end of my day.

As I shared my World Changer Club with people, taking what I learned today and using that, I promoted my vision in 17 conversations. Go back and read the lesson again and again if you did not get it the first time. I saw eyes that are willing to accept what we have to offer. Go back and look. See for yourself. You can do this too!
